What does Rochas have against Ideato nation?

Governor Rochas Anayochukwu Okorocha is a prominent and proud son of
Ogboko in Ideato-South Local Government Area of Imo State. He rose to
prominence by dints of hardwork, tenacity of purpose and above all,
the grace of God. He has the gift of the gab, no doubt but he
misapplies it most of the time. Most times, he forgets that the masses
of his state prefer sincerity and action in the place of rhetoric.
The governor, in every forum would pontificate that he is a
detribalized Nigerian who does not segregate or apply preferential
treatment in the discharge of his official duty as Governor of Imo
State. He would often tell whoever cares to listen that he has his
Rochas Foundation College in all the States of the Federation to show
his Pan Nigerian credential. There was time I watched him on a
television station telling his Adamawa counterpart and the Internally
Displaced Persons (IDPs) that he would build a school for them and
even consider exporting teachers from Imo State to Adamawa to teach
them. It is a good virtue for a man not to be detribalized. But can a
man truly be detribalized in Nigeria with a population of over 150m
people and about 250 ethnic nationalities? With the level of hatred
against Ndigbo in Nigeria today and even since independence, can a
man, especially a governor use his state resources to draw favour and
friendship outside at the expense of his state? When former governor
of Anambra State, late Chief C. C. Onoh was alive, he would always
echo it loud and clear that he was first an Ngwoo man, then Wawa man
then Enugu man, then Igbo man and finally a Nigerian. Governor Rochas
Okorocha from my perspective does not see himself as a prominent son
of Ideato Nation. And I ask, what does he have against Ideato Nation,
particularly Ideato South? People who are close to him often say that
he allegedly holds some grudges against his Ideato-South kinsmen for
the unpalatable treatment some of them meted to him in past
encounters.
Therefore, he had long decided not to associate or have any political
dealing with them. Yes, Governor Okorocha may have a bone to pick with
some of his past political associates of Ideato South extraction who
may have betrayed him, but that is not enough reason for him to
completely alienate his kinsmen from coming close to him.
