PHOTOS: Dualization of MCC road – Uratta road, Owerri

In a bid to reduce the traffic congestion for the commuters and
inhabitants of MCC-Uratta road, the Okorocha's administration has
embarked on dualization of the popular road.

To achieve this, some major structures were knocked down even the
premises of the state owned ITC park had its walls pulled down.

It has been a gradual process but work is steady. As you read this,
MCC/road is now almost two times its size.

When completed, reflectors and speed breakers will be installed to aid
drivers at night maintain their lane which will in turn help reduce
accidents.
