Dr Ben Ugheoke dismissed the reports as mere rumours
on Tuesday, September 13, he said no one
interviewed him.
Contrary to earlier reports of an impending strike on October 2,
the chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities
(ASUU), University of Abuja's chapter, Dr Ben Ugheoke has
something totally different to say.
Dr Ugheoke has revealed that the
union has not issued any strike notice to the federal
government.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, September 13, in Abuja, he
said that he did not grant any interview or issue a statement
on pending strike as it was reported.
He went on to urge the public and stakeholders to disregard
the report as it did not originate from him.
