Union of Universities (ASUU) has confirmed that
the strike has ended.
Professor Biodun Ogunyemi while speaking to
the press on Tuesday, November 22, made it
clear that the one week nationwide warning
strike over the non-implementation of a 2009
agreement with the federal government has
ended.
Prof. Ogunyemi,also urged lecturers to return to
work, saying:
"We are making progress,
especially with the intervention of the Senate. In
the next one or two meetings, if we are able to
get a clear path to the matter, we will avoid strike action.
