IMSU STRIKE: ASUU schedules congress to suspend strike as NASU,SSANU and others freely hangs strike action.

The Academic staff Union (ASUU) have recieved their long awaited
salaries and expected to meet today being June 22, 2016 for their
Congress to suspend their own strike.

Therefore, Academic and non-academic activities are
expected to resume tomorrow as soon as possible.

The Non-academic Staff Union of Universities, (NASU) and SENIOR STAFF
ASSOCIATION OF
NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES (SSANU) Imo state University, owerri, has
suspended their own industrial action they embarked upon since 21st
March 2016, calling on its members to resume work immediately.

The announcement came after the emergency meeting held by the Non
academic union on Tuesday 21st June 2016 to discuss recent
developments concerning the strike.
