Imo State Polytechnic Embark on Strike over Unpaid Salaries

The latest information reaching us here at imsuvila has it that the
Lecturers of Imo State Polytechnic, Imopoly, has embarked on a 1 week
warning strike over unpaid salaries.

According to the report, the Lecturers has not been paid for over 4
months. Also, at the moment we learnt that the Rector has traveled to
London.

They declared the strike and lock the school gate. All activities in
the school has been brought to a halt until further notice.

Update: is Imo State Polytechnic on strike? Yes, as at 6th of June
2016, Imopoly is still on strike.
