According to the report, the rumoured plan of the governor is already
generating tension among members of the Jigawa state executive
council.
The report stated that the decision to reshuffle the cabinet is
informed by alleged sabotage of the state government by members of the
present cabinet.
A source close to the state government squealed that about 10
commissioners in the cabinet might be sacked by Governor Abubakar.
"Governor Badaru intends to make the cabinet reshuffle by his one year
in office, that is by May, 29,"the source was quoted as saying.
When contacted, the special assistant to the governor on media and
publicity, Muhammad Bello Zaki, said he was not aware of any plan to
reshuffle the cabinet.
