The immediate past student union president of Imo state University, Comrade Nwanna Emeka, known also as “LEGACY”, has called on the Chief of staff Imo state Government House, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, to immortalize the late David Ufomba, for his positive contributions to the growth of Student Union Government in the university.

David Ufomba before his death years ago, attended Imo state university; He died a hero in the struggle of service to his father land.

 

Comrade Nwanna Emeka took to his social media handle to maintain that, there is always need to recognize those who distinguish themselves in the service to mankind as cresting the name in the newly built student union secretariat will give an unending life to David Ufomba. He wrote on his facebook timeline this way:

“Thank You Ugwumba Uche Nwosu for the Gift of IMSU SUG Secretariat as promised in the month of March 2016”.

“It's my wish and that of some comrades to plead your understanding, to also have the name, DAVID UFOMBA crested or immortalized in our Secretariat so as not allow the labour of our Hero past not be in vain. Thanks for understanding”.

“Let me await your response Sir and that of others who probably will bring politics to this request”.
