The sky was blown high on Wednesday 23rd March, 2017 when Stern looking police officers reportedly from Fidelity Bank stormed and sealed off popular Titanic View Hotel and Las Vegas Club located at world Bank area of Owerri, the Eastern Heartland.
Sources revealed that the closure is connected with business transactions. A top management staff of Fidelity bank revealed that the bank is owed a total sum of four hundred million naira (N400m). That after more than one year of appeals and serving of court orders to the management, the inability of the owner to meet his financial obligations to the bank prompt the drastic action taken by the bank.
He averred that the management of Fidelity Bank will take over the onerous responsibility of running the hotel unless something positive is done by the owner.
