Monarch advocates for MOU between FUTO, host communities

The Traditional Ruler of Umuanunu Autonomous
Community in Owerri-West Local Government
Area of Imo State, HRH Eze Geofery Ejimogu has
suggested that a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) be signed between the host communities of
the Federal University of Technology Owerri,
(FUTO) and the institution.
Eze Ejimogu made this known when the Vice
Chancellor of FUTO, Professor Francis Ezeh paid
him a courtesy visit last Monday.
The monarch noted that signing an MoU and re-
establishing the liason office would act as a go-
between for the institution and the host
communities as it would go a long way in
harmonizing the relationship between them.
The monarch who said a good portion of land was
given to the Federal Government by his community
33 years ago noted that his community which
source of income and existence was farming had
no regrets on their action but are in dire need of
some form of compensation or aid.
