year old final year student of Imo State University,
Owerri, IMSU, was murdered in cold blood by
unidentified persons suspected to be student
cultist of the institution.
The incident which occurred at a popular drinking
palour, Orange Groove, located at IMSU junction,
left everybody bewildered, especially traders
around, who were shocked that the dead student
could have been a cultist.

trailed him to the joint from the campus.

According to the eyewitness, the assailants, had
arrived the popular drinking outfit, went straight to
where their target was relaxing, shot him severally
on his skull and zoomed off, after shooting
sporadically into the air to scare people of the
victim.
Consequently, the scene of the crime has been
sealed off by the police, after evacuating the
lifeless body.
