Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Independent
Corrupt Practices and Related Offences
Commission (ICPC) have commenced
investigation of the administration of Rev. Fr.
Wence Madu as the Rector of Imo State
Polytechnic, Umuagwo.
Others under interrogation by the two sister
agencies are Directors, MD of the Poly Micro
Finance Bank, heads of departments and some
senior management staff alleged to be involved
in the petitions written against them by the
disengaged staff of the institution concerning
alleged award of contracts worth millions of
naira without advertisements, due process,
employment racketeering without government
waiver and governing council's approval.
