Road Owerri, has been nabbed by officers and men
of the Imo Police Command.
Parading the suspects at the Police Command
headquarters Owerri, the Commissioner of Police,
Imo State, Mr. Taiwo Lakanu said three members
of the robbery gang who have been terrorizing
people passing along Douglas Road, especially
around the market plaza were arrested while
carrying out their nefarious activities.
They included Anthony Ezeudo alias 'Mopol' D'
Dragon, Ifeanyi Ukwuoma and Joseph Nwaigwe.
Items recovered from them during the operation
are two locally made pistols, four live cartridges
and a set of charms. The Police Commissioner said
that the suspects who have made useful
statements to the police with regard to their
operations will soon be charged to court.
