ADMISSION: JAMB 2016/2017 latest update

THE JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD (JAMB) has insisted that
admission processes for 2016/2017 academic calendar year for both
federal and state-owned universities will close tomorrow, Wednesday
30/2016

A statement released by the examination body's public relation
officer, DR fabian Benjamin, which was seen by Imsuvila has it that
the conclusion at the stakeholders' meeting held in owerri, IMO state,
recently was that all the federal and state universities must adhere
strictly to November 30/2016 deadline while polytechnic and college of
education and private universities should enjoy between two to three
week of extension

He said institutions are expected to submit all their admission list
on or before tomorrow and that as soon as approved by the body, the
candidate can be connected.

According to Benjamin, the extension would be used to perfect the
admission processes for other levels of the higher institutions,
saying those not admitted by the universities could be considered by
various polytechnics, college of education and private universities.

Meanwhile some universities second list is not yet out e.g uniben,
uniabuja, unizik, Abu, just to mention the few while university like
oau has not release merit list.many candidates fear that most
universities might not meet up with the deadline with just a day to
go, will there be an extension or will it be business as usual for
most top universities who don't kip to jamb admission deadline this
and many more question trouble the heart of 2016 aspirants waiting for
second list or merit list.
