has been overtaken by a long stretch of refuse and
filth.
No reason has been forthcoming why the refuse
heap has been ignored by relevant authorities. The
filth has remained on the location more than two
weeks with fears of a breakdown of epidemic in
sight.
Despite the excavation of refuse heaps after the
monthly Clean up exercise last week, no attempt or
effort was made to remove the rubbish.
Traders who have displayed their wares for sale at
the busy road are suffocating from the stench of the
refuse dump that has made the major road in
Owerri metropolso impassable and unfit for human
habitation.
