polytechnics, Owerri,Comr Iwundu Prosper recently joined his other
graduating students of the State owned polytechnics to celebrate their
successful graduation from school.
According to our reporter who witnessed the event, it was the last day
of their exams and was seen by observers as carnival of sort with the
SUG president driven in his official vehicle alongside other
executives of the Union and members. The SUG president in his brief
speech, stated, "I came into the School as a small boy but leaving as
a big boy".
The celebration has become quite common with graduating students in
Nigeria Universities which often time end up in sorrow but it wasn't
the case in Imopoly where Comr Iwundu supervised the celebration
making sure that no student became unruly or tried to be destructive
in a bid to celebrate their graduation.
