The Osun state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has
warned President Muhammadu Buhari against acts that may plunge Nigeria
into civil war.
the warning was contained in a statement issued by Prince Diran
Odeyemi, the PDP's director of research, publicity and strategy, on
Tuesday, May 31, in Osogbo.

Reacting to alleged plans to impose travel ban on governors of Ekiti
and Rivers states – Ayodele Fayose and Nyesom Wike, the party stated
that tampering with the constitutionally guaranteed immunity of
governors would spell doom for the country.

Calling on the president to drop his plans immediately, Odeyemi noted
there was nothing done to Buhari by Fayose and Wike that Governor Rauf
Aregbesola of Osun state did not do to Goodluck Jonathan while he was
in office.
