Okorocha set to establish Rochas college in Bauchi

Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has announced plans to
establish Rochas Foundation College in Bauchi State in continuation of
his mission to provide education for the children of the poor and the
less privileged in the society.

The governor who spoke after being issued with a certificate of
occupancy to quicken the actualisation of the project by his Bauchi
State counterpart, Governor Mohammed Abubakar noted that investment in
the education of the children was the only sure way to lay a solid
foundation for the leaders of tomorrow.
He spoke at the ceremony marking part of the celebrations for the 40th
anniversary of the creation of Imo State during which members of his
cabinet including the secretary to the state government and the Head
of Service gave detailed account of the achievements of their
respective ministries, department and agencies for the past five
years.

He reminded his colleagues in the 36 states of the federation that it
is a privilege to be elected to serve the people hence they should
strive to leave impressive legacies for the people who elected them.
