We‘ll recapture Imo, Anambra —PDP South East Vice Chair

THE National Vice Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,
South-East zone, Mr. Austin Umahi, yesterday, expressed the
determination of the party to recapture Imo and Anambra states in
2019.
He stated this in Abakaliki while briefing newsmen on his plans to
reposition PDP in the South-East geo-political zone.
According to him, the inability of the All Progressives Congress,
APC-led government to fulfill its campaign promises after a year in
power is enough for PDP to take over power at the centre.
He said: "The truth is, APC is campaigning for PDP. People are already
disen-chanted and disillusioned. They want the true change that will
come from PDP."
Umahi, who is the younger brother to Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi
State, identified intra-party politics and clashes between party
bigwigs as the major pro-blems of the party in the zone.
