A hostel at the University of Uyo, » Akwa Ibom, was reportedly
engulfed by fire on Wednesday, May 19.
According to reports, the cause of the inferno at the hostel, Udi
Hall, is yet to be ascertained. The fire began at about 5am on
Wednesday.
However, the fire was said to have started from a room occupied by the
Man O' War before spreading to the Udi Hall.
