Pay Ohakim immediately - Court orders Okorocha

The National Industrial Court sitting in Owerri, on Tuesday ordered
the Imo State Government to immediately pay former governor Ikedi
Ohakim his salaries for April and May 2011.
The court also ordered the state government, Governor Rochas Okorocha,
Accountant General of the state (defendants) to immediately pay Ohakim
his severance gratuity as fixed and determined by the Revenue
Mobilization Allocation Fiscal Commission.
Delivering judgment in Suit No: NICN/OW/59/2014, the presiding judge
Hon. Justice O.Y. Anuwe, also ordered immediate compliance with the
provisions of the Imo State Governors and Speakers Pension and
Privileges Law 2007 by paying Ohakim his pension, allowances and
privileges under the said law.
