NLC meets to review ongoing strike against fuel price increase

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) is set to meet on Sunday to review
the ongoing strike over fuel price increase.

According to information, the meeting was also aimed at mapping the way forward.
The recent increase saw the fuel price being upped from N86 to N145.

Reports on Saturday said that the former minister of petroleum and
energy, professor Tam David-West had
dismissed as "nonsense" , the government's decision to increase the
price of fuel.
David-West insisted that petrol could be sold at N40 per litre.
