Nationwide strike: Catholic Church warns Labour unions

The organized labour unions are threatening to shut-down the country
over the new fuel price of petrol

– The Catholic Church warned the labour that the nationwide strike may
throw the nation into chaos

– The director of communication of Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Very
Rev. Fr, Patrick Alumuku, urged Nigerians to rethink their plan and
give the government the benefit of the doubt

– Alumuku noted that such difficult economic situation is global
especially for the oil producing countries
