Ex-presidential candidate tells Buhari what to do to Nnamdi Kanu

Ex-presidential candidate Chekwas Okorie has advised Buhari to release
Nnamdi Kanu as a panacea to dialogue with aggrieved groups clamouring
for a Biafra state
– Okorie says the agitation for a Biafra state has been legitimate as
long as the agitatots have remained non-violent
– He says Buhari should instruct the security agencies not to apply
force to these non-violent demonstrators
Chief Chekwas Okorie, the founder of United Progressives Party (UPP)
has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, to release the detained director
of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
According to Okorie, should Buhari release Kanu and dialogue with the
aggrieved members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign
State of Biafra (MASSOB), Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and
other affiliate groups demanding for Biafra secession, then the nation
can return to its peaceful state.
